# Export data from a card or dataset

Learn how to export data from a card or dataset in Analytics Explorer, resulting in a CSV file download.

To export data from a card or dataset:

Navigate to **Analytics** > **Explorer**.

Locate the card or dataset that you want to export data from.

Click the menu icon and select **Export**.

The export starts automatically. Analytics exports the data in CSV form into the default download location of your browser.
