# Delete a custom object record

Learn how to delete a custom object record for a custom object.

Navigate to **Object manager entry** in the left navigation menu.

Click the custom object name in the Label column. The custom object detail page opens.

Click **View Object Records** in the upper right of the window.

Locate the custom object record you want to delete, and then click the Delete icon *(delete hollow icon)* in the last column of the record.

Click **Delete** in the confirmation dialog.
