# Create the External Client App in Salesforce

> Create a Zuora Experiences external client app in Salesforce and configure OAuth and Canvas settings for the integration.

Create a Zuora Experiences external client app in Salesforce and configure OAuth and Canvas settings for the integration.

In Salesforce Setup, enter **External Client Apps** in Quick Find.

Under **Apps** > **External Client Apps**, click **External Client App Manager**.

Click **New External Client App**.

Configure the app by using the following values:

| API Name            | Zuora_Experiences. Use this exact value so that the component default settings match the app configuration.                                                                                                                                            |

| Enable OAuth        | Set the callback URL to `https://login.salesforce.com` and add at least one scope, such as **Access the identity URL service (id)**. OAuth flows are not used for this integration. The consumer secret is used only to verify signed Canvas requests. |
| Canvas App Settings | Enable Canvas. Set Canvas App URL to **https\://\<your-experience-domain>/auth/canvas/interstitial**. Set Access Method to **Signed Request (POST)**. Set Locations to **Lightning Component**.                                                        |

Click **Create**.
