Learn how to select the external login setup that matches your authentication system.

Your login system can authenticate users. You know whether your identity provider signs JSON Web Token (JWTs) and publishes a JSON Web Key Set (JWKS) URL.

Confirm whether your identity provider publishes a public key at a JWKS URL.

If no JWKS URL exists, complete the one-time key setup in [Create signing keys and publish JWKS](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oXZZn8MIFvu0_27go-w5-GyL7kErrjRiTXIZrR-HsQM/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.ao81ypo0illm).

If a JWKS URL already exists, complete the configuration in [Use an existing identity provider](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oXZZn8MIFvu0_27go-w5-GyL7kErrjRiTXIZrR-HsQM/edit?tab=t.0#heading=h.ia53ttspytfm).
