# AI Agent usage

Use the Experience Builder Agent to create and configure pages, components, and interactions that display live tenant data based on clear, task-focused prompts.

The Experience Builder Agent can create pages and components, configure navigation, retrieve tenant data, and add interactions. After the Agent completes a change, use preview mode and the editor to verify that the result works as expected and is connected to live data.

## Before you begin

Before using the Agent, identify the following information:

* Pages and components to create or modify.
* User flow that the site must support.
* Tenant data that each page or component must display.
* Expected result for each action or interaction.

Use prompts that describe the required behavior. For example, specify that the Agent must retrieve the current user’s invoice amount and display the returned value in the page component, rather than asking the Agent to create a page that displays an invoice amount.

## Using the AI Agent

The Agent applies the instructions in your prompt to the current site. Depending on the request, it might:

* Create or modify pages.
* Add or update components.
* Configure links and page paths.
* Use the Zuora MCP to display tenant information in chat and validate queries.
* Bind returned data to page components.
* Add interactions that run code or perform actions.

The result can include both visual changes and underlying configuration. A page that looks correct is not necessarily complete. Always confirm that dynamic content is connected to live data and that interactions work in preview mode.
