# Create a style token from the Style Tokens panel

> Create a style token from the Style Tokens panel and add it to the project token library.

Create a style token from the Style Tokens panel and add it to the project token library.

You can create a style token from the [Design panel](/docs/platform/extensibility/experience-builder/style-tokens-in-experience-builder/create-a-style-token-from-design-panel) or from the Style Tokens panel.

Open the **Style Tokens** panel.

Click **New token**.

Specify the token name, token type, and token value.

Save the token.

The new token is added to the project token library.
