# User Account Management

Learn how to manage user accounts and the user account lifecycle for users who can log in to those web pages and view the experiences.

Customer administrators use the User Accounts module to create, update, and control the end-user accounts that let users log in to web pages and view data from the billing system. From this module, you can sync accounts, send invitations, configure login behavior, assign roles, define custom fields, support external identity systems, and review audit activity.

## Manual user creation

You can create a user manually. Because you must repeat this process for each account, use manual creation only when you manage a small number of users or when account sync is not available for your setup.
