# Create a Zuora-managed S3 connection

> Create a single Zuora-managed S3 connection so Zuora can manage the AWS S3 bucket on your behalf.

Create a single Zuora-managed S3 connection so Zuora can manage the AWS S3 bucket on your behalf.

Navigate to **Mediation** > **Meters**.

Click the **Manage Connections** button at the top of the page.

The **Manage Connections** window is displayed and lists all existing connections with the connection details.

Click **Create New** to create a new connection.

From the list of connection types, select **AWS S3**.

Under **Choose AWS S3 Type**, select **Zuora-managed S3** and click **Continue**.

Enter a **Connection Name**.

This name must be unique across all connections; attempts to create a connection with a duplicate name return an error.

Continue to create the connection.

The Zuora-managed S3 connection is created immediately with an Active status and appears in the Connections list. After a Zuora-managed S3 connection is created, the Zuora-managed S3 option is disabled so that only one Zuora-managed S3 connection can be created.
