# Define the Snowflake connection

> Define a Snowflake connection in Mediation to enable Zuora-managed access to your Snowflake account.

Define a Snowflake connection in Mediation to enable Zuora-managed access to your Snowflake account.

Navigate to **Mediation** > **Meters**.

Click the **Manage Connections** button at the top of the page.

The **Manage Connections** window is displayed and lists all existing connections with the connection details.

Click **Create New** to create a new connection.

From the list of connection types, select **Snowflake** and then click **Continue**.

On the **Basic Information** step, provide the following details:

1. **Connection Name** (required) – A name for the connection.

It must be unique across all connections.
2. **Account URL** (required) – Enter your Snowflake account URL.

The value must be a valid Snowflake account hostname ending in `snowflakecomputing.com` or `snowflakecomputing.cn`. JDBC URLs are not supported and will be rejected during validation. This must be a valid HTTPS URL containing `snowflakecomputing.com`, or an account identifier such as `abc12345.us-east-1`.
3. **Username** (required) – The Snowflake username that Mediation uses to connect.

Click **Save & Continue**.
