# Create OAuth 2.0 credentials

> Create static OAuth 2.0 credentials for an MCP-compatible client.

Create static OAuth 2.0 credentials for an MCP-compatible client.

Remote MCP uses static OAuth 2.0 credentials. Create a separate OAuth client for each MCP client, and associate it with that client's redirect URI.

In OneID, sign in as an administrator.

Go to **Settings** > **Manage OAuth 2.0 Clients**.

Select **+ New**.

Configure the OAuth client with the following values:

| Field                    | Value                            |
| ------------------------ | -------------------------------- |
| Client name              | Enter a name for the client.     |
| Authorization grant type | `Authorization Code`             |
| Type                     | `MCP Client`                     |
| Application type         | `Billing`                        |
| Redirect URI             | Use the URI for your MCP client. |

Save the OAuth client.

Store the client ID and client secret securely.
