Use this reference to browse error and sample audit records and create audit exports for Mediation reconciliation.

The `manage_meters_audit` tool supports audit browsing and bulk export. It provides seven operations for retrieving audit records, creating export jobs, checking export status, and downloading export artifacts. Start with `audit_guidance` to retrieve workflows and tips.

## manage_meters_audit operations

| Operation               | Access | Purpose                                            |
| ----------------------- | ------ | -------------------------------------------------- |
| `audit_guidance`        | Read   | Retrieve audit workflows and tips. Start here.     |
| `audit_trail_entries`   | Read   | Retrieve cursor-paged `ERROR` or `SAMPLE` records. |
| `list_audit_exports`    | Read   | List export jobs for a meter.                      |
| `create_audit_export`   | Write  | Start a bulk export.                               |
| `get_export_job_status` | Read   | Poll an export job until it is ready.              |
| `get_presigned_url`     | Read   | Retrieve a presigned URL for an export artifact.   |
| `download_export`       | Read   | Download an export artifact.                       |

Use `ERROR` exports for reconciliation and `SAMPLE` exports for representative successful rows. Use `audit_trail_entries` for a quick view. Use an export job for large production analysis.
