# Mediation MCP prerequisites

> Use this reference to verify the tenant, client, user, and entity requirements for Mediation MCP.

Use this reference to verify the tenant, client, user, and entity requirements for Mediation MCP.

Before you connect an MCP-compatible client, verify that you have the following items:

1. Mediation is enabled on your Zuora tenant and on the entity that you will use.
2. Zuora AI is enabled for the tenant.
3. An MCP-compatible client is configured for Zuora Remote MCP.
4. A Zuora user or OAuth client has the required permissions.
5. The entity ID for the entity that you will use is available.

For a multi-entity tenant, you must provide the entity ID in the `Zuora-Entity-Ids` header.

## Enable Zuora AI

An organization administrator enables Zuora AI in Zuora Command Center. Read-only AI is often enabled by default. Enable write skills only when your organization is ready to use them.

To verify the setting:

1. Sign in to Zuora Command Center with OneID.
2. Go to **Admin Console** > **AI Labs** > **Configuration**.
3. Verify that at least read-only AI is enabled for the target tenant.
