Configure a new authentication provider in Workflow, including basic information and authentication type settings.

Open the **Authentication Providers** page.

Click **Add New**.

The **Add New Authentication Provider** dialog opens.

In the **Basic Information** section, configure the following fields:

1. **Name** – Name of the authentication provider that appears in lists.
2. **Service Name** – Label describing the service this provider is for (for example, billing-api, s3-reports).
3. **Description** (optional) – Free-text description of how and where this provider is used.
4. **Active** – Toggle to control whether this provider is currently active. Inactive providers remain defined but are not used for new calls.

In the **Authentication Type** section, select the authentication type for this provider.

The supported types are:

* **Basic Auth**
* **OAuth 1.0**
* **OAuth 2.0**
* **NetSuite TBA**
* **HMAC**
* **AWS Auth**

The fields displayed for the provider depend on the authentication type that you select. Configure the fields required for the selected type.

For **AWS Auth**, you can select an IAM role authentication mode in addition to access key and secret authentication. The fields displayed depend on the selected authentication mode.

After completing the fields, save the provider.
