# Use authentication providers in Workflow tasks

> When you configure a Notifications: Callout Workflow task, you can reuse a stored authentication provider instead of entering credentials directly in the task.

When you configure a Notifications: Callout Workflow task, you can reuse a stored authentication provider instead of entering credentials directly in the task.

Open the **Notifications: Callout** task in your workflow.

Go to the **Authentication** tab.

In the **Saved Providers** section, select one of the configured authentication providers.

The selected provider's stored credentials are applied to the callout.
