This reference explains the File: File Operations task.

You can use the FileOperations task to build the following tasks in a workflow:

* Zip a file: supports `.zip`, `.gz`, and `.tgz` output formats through a compression format setting.
* Unzip a file: Supports .zip, .gz, .tgz, and .tar.gz input files. When an archive contains multiple files, you can make all unzipped files available in an array for downstream Workflow tasks. If the archive can contain multiple files, use an Iterate task after the File Operations task to process the unzipped files.
* Create a CSV file
* Create a PDF file
* Encrypt a file
* Decrypt a file
* Zip multiple files
* Attach XML to PDF

Select the operation from the **Action Type** dropdown list, and the available settings for the specified operation are displayed.
