# Add user roles in OneID for Revenue Tenants

> Create user roles in OneID to control the permissions that users have in your Zuora Revenue tenants.

Create user roles in OneID to control the permissions that users have in your Zuora Revenue tenants.

In the OneID console, navigate to **Admin Console** > **User Roles and Permissions**.

From the **View Role List**, select a revenue tenant for which you want to create a user role.

The list displays all Zuora tenants in your organization.

Click **Add New Role**.

The settings window opens.

In the settings window, enter a name and description for the new user role.

Click **Save**.

The new user role appears on the User Roles page.

By default, the new role has read-only permissions. To customize permissions, open the revenue tenant and update the role there.
