# Delete an invoice group

Learn how to delete an existing invoice group configuration by using the Settings API.

Use this operation to remove an invoice group configuration that you no longer need for Configurable Invoice Grouping.

To delete an invoice group, specify the ID or number of the invoice group as a path parameter.

HTTP request:

`DELETE {api_url}/settings/invoice-groups/{id | number}`

Sample request:
