# Edit a child org unit

Learn to edit a child organization unit.

You can update the configurable attributes of a child org unit at any time. Note that the reporting currency and the functional currency have editing restrictions.

Click your username on the top right and navigate to **Administration** > **Organization Hierarchy Management**.

In the **Hierarchy** section, locate the child org that you want to edit.

Click the **ellipsis** icon, and then click **Edit**.

Make the required changes, and then click **Save**.

>
> * The reporting currency of the child org unit is inherited from the root org and cannot be edited.
> * The functional currency of the child org unit cannot be edited after it is defined.
