Create a deployment using configuration template

Learn how to navigate the Deployment Manager, create a new deployment, and upload templates for deployment.

From the main menu, navigate to Administration > Deployment Manager.

From the Deployments screen, click +New.

On the Basics step, enter the Deployment Name and an optional Deployment Description.

Choose Upload Template and click + UPLOAD FILE.

Select a JSON file and click Next. The Target Tenant is populated automatically and cannot be modified.

On the Compare and Deploy step, select the checkboxes of the component(s) or the sub-components that you want to migrate from the source tenant to the target tenant, and then click Deploy.

click Confirm on the confirmation screen.

In the Deployment Setup screen, select whether you want to receive an email notification for the deployment result, and then click Start Deployment. For more information on email configuration, seeConfigure email list.The deployment run will appear on the Deployment Run list with a status of Deploy in progress.

Click Refresh to view the status.
