Configure Sumo Logic integration for Observability connector
Configure a Sumo Logic connector in OneID to send Zuora events through the Observability connector.
In Name, enter a name for the connector.
The name identifies the connector in the connector list. Use a name that indicates the destination, so that you can distinguish this connector from others that send to the same platform.
In Endpoint URL, enter the address that Zuora sends events to.
The URL must use HTTPS. Include the full path to the receiving endpoint, not only the host.
In Source Category, enter a label for the events that this connector sends.
Zuora sends the label with each event, so that you can group or filter Zuora events in the destination platform. If you leave this field empty, Zuora sends no category and the destination applies its own default.
Expand Advanced settings and set the options that your destination requires.
Zuora applies a default value to each advanced option that you leave empty.
-
In Payload Format, select the format that your destination expects.
This value determines the structure that Zuora uses to serialize each event before sending it.
-
In Retry Policy, select how Zuora spaces repeated delivery attempts after a failed send.
-
In Connection Timeout (ms), enter how long Zuora waits to establish a connection to the endpoint.
Zuora treats an attempt that exceeds this value as failed.
-
In Read Timeout (ms), enter how long Zuora waits for a response after it sends events.
A destination that acknowledges slowly under load needs a higher value.
-
In Max Retries, enter the number of times Zuora retries a failed delivery before it stops.
Set the Enabled toggle.
The toggle is on by default, so a saved connector begins sending events immediately. Turn the toggle off to save the configuration without sending events.
The connector appears in the connector list. An enabled connector shows the status Active.
