Assign an organization to an account

Learn how to assign or update an organizations on an account.

Navigate to Customers > Customer Accounts.

Select the required account.

Click Edit on the account detail page.

In the Organization field, perform one of the following:

  • Assign an organization: If the account organization is null, select an organization to assign.

  • Change an organization: Update the existing organization as needed.

    All associated transaction objects automatically inherit or update to the selected organization through an asynchronous labeling process.

Click Save.

  • You can assign an organization only when the account’s organization is null.
  • Once assigned, the organization cannot be removed through the Zuora UI. Use the Data Labeling API if needed.
  • For data migration use cases, use the Data Labeling API instead of the UI.
