Usage guidelines for Zuora AI
Zuora AI limits and constraints help you plan batch updates, file uploads, and revenue reports within supported request and workflow boundaries.
Use these limits and constraints to plan how you run Zuora AI requests and workflows.
AI request quota
Zuora AI supports up to 5,000 AI requests per tenant per calendar month.
- The quota is shared by all users in the tenant.
- The quota is calculated separately for each tenant; tenants in the same organization do not share a quota.
- When the quota is reached, Zuora AI requests are blocked until the quota resets at the start of the next calendar month.
- Use the quota indicator in the Zuora AI interface to monitor usage for the current month.
Batch update row limit
The batch update skill supports up to 100,000 rows in a single batch update.
If you need to update more than 100,000 rows, split the data into multiple batch updates and review each proposed update before you approve it.
File size guidance for Revenue SSP AI batch uploads
For SSP AI batch uploads in Zuora Revenue, keep each uploaded file at or below 4 MB. The 4 MB value is displayed as precautionary guidance for this workflow while performance is validated for different file sizes. It is not a general file size limit for all Zuora AI capabilities or file uploads.
If your file exceeds this guidance, split the data into smaller files before uploading it.
Revenue report summary limits
When Zuora AI summarizes a completed Zuora Revenue report:
- Full-file totals are calculated from the complete report.
- Detailed row-level drill-down covers up to 500 rows.
- Download links for report files are time-limited. Download the file promptly after you receive the link.
Plan for large requests
For large data sets or multi-step work:
- Split large batch updates and file uploads into smaller units.
- Use focused prompts that limit the amount of data returned for review.
- Review AI-generated results and proposed changes before you approve or apply them.
These limits are specific to the feature described in each section. Existing Zuora permissions, tenant AI modes, Controls, and other product-specific limits continue to apply. For more information, see Access and permissions for Zuora AI and Controls for Zuora AI.
