Configure Callout Notifications for External Systems

Learn how to configure callout notifications to integrate Integration Hub job status with external systems like observability or ticketing tools.

You can also trigger callout notifications to integrate Integration Hub job status with your external observability or ticketing systems.

To configure a callout:

In Events and Notifications, click Add Notification.

Choose Standard Events and select the Integration Hubjob event.

For Delivery Type, select Callout.

Enter the Endpoint URL of your external system (for example, a webhook in a monitoring tool or incident management system).

Select the HTTP method (typically POST).

Define appropriate headers and authentication (for example, API key or bearer token) according to the external system’s requirements.

In the Payload or Message body, map the Integration Hub job event fields to the request body expected by your external system. Include, at minimum:

  • Connector name,
  • Job type,
  • Status,
  • Execution identifier,
  • Error summary (for failures),
  • Job timing information.

Set the notification to Active, then Save.
